I need some soup ideas… hence this question … what are your favourite soups?
Personally I know of the three that top the list .. pea soup , chicken corn soup and parsnip and carrot soup …

I just omit the sherry, not sure what taste that liquor gives…but it still tasted good. Oh and for the chicken stock, I just make yakhni & flavor it a bit as well. I just use ready made rotissirie chicken and shred it up…

I believe the base they use is made of pork and they add bacon to the soup as well.

Hot & Sour Soup is usually sold in Chinese Restaurants here, I think Thai restaurants have their own version of it as well. Speaking of which, I LOVE Tom Yum (Shrimp) soup from Thai Restaurants.....delishussss
