it’s NOT the view point of Islam…Islam says “for you your religion and for me my religion” but there is NO overlapping…it requires you to come into it’s folds FULLY and one has to negate the idea of multi-gods AND accept ONENESS of God … Akbar tried in vein to intentionally BLUR the line!

All religions I know have only one God. Hindus call that God Narayana. The multi-forms are just for the common person to identify with various gods - Surya, Indra, Vayu etc. To that extent, there is “oneness” of God in Hinduism also, ditto in Christianity and Judaism.

But I accept your point that “Islam says "for you your religion and for me my religion”. As long as there is tolerance, it is all good.

Now you like Aurangzeb - that has me scratching my head with surprise - I hear he was a cruel and barbaric person.
