I think the cycle will repeat itself very soon. The only ramzaan when the weather was really harsh was when I was a kid, that too in primary school, I guess way back in late 80's.

Some interesting facts:
4th of rajab and 1st of ramdan fall on the same day.
4th of shaban and 1st of shawaal fall (eid day) on the same day.
10th of muharram of the following years fall on the same day of previous eid first of shawaal.

Fasting in summers is damn tough. Only thing you need at that time is water, cold water. No food required.

u can fast anytime of the year you need faith and patience provided by Allah .
and people in offices do fast i am in an office and ppl come after sehri and leave early so they can concentrate more on their roza and praying

Fasting in hot and sizzling summer is really very tough. I hardly see any of the people who work in the open in hot sun and humid wind, ever fasting. Even people working in the offices avoid fasting.
Go less on MJ, it will help keep the darja-e-haraarat down. :D

ALLAH will give us strength to fast in hot summer,its not a big deal when you have to do farz you have to do.

Fasting in hot and sizzling summer is really very tough. I hardly see any of the people who work in the open in hot sun and humid wind, ever fasting. Even people working in the offices avoid fasting.
I've kept the occasional fast in the summer. When I was younger, the fasts also used to be close to the summertime. I'm not so much worried about the fasting itself, but the late Taraweeh seems like a bit more of a challenge. I'm more concerned about getting sufficient sleep in such a time than food/drink.
