Yes. But be careful when using it. It is rarely used for daughter and mostly used for wife or gf or something like that.

If you want to learn farsi..learn the iranian style and not the dari/afghani style.
Persian style sounds good. Dari sounds like pushto.

There is a difference if you speak farsi in Tajikistan/Uzbekistan and Afghanistan compared to Iran....
