I know you mentioned this, but what’s the difference between a fancy abaya and one of those long maxi kameezes that are in these days?

for example, I have this suit, and it pretty much could be an abaya. . Which is perfect for me to wear to the next masjid function

Afshi, that’s what I thought and that is why suggested going for long loose shirt. And you know you can always have an enclosed collar/neckline.
