Fancy Abayas for weddings

Hi all, I’d like to see some pics of some stylish abayahs (apologies if this topic has been posted before, if so then just point me to the threads!), my sister is looking for something to wear for my other sister’s wedding and wants an abayah that looks stylish and not OTT or difficult to copy.

There are so many stylish loose and long outfits in fashion, how about wear a matching hijab with something like that then an abbaya.

just my 2 cents. :)

Mmm well, my sister's pretty strict about it being an abayah cos she fully covers and my family are pretty traditional in this stuff. She won't want a loose kameez or just a loose dress, I've already checked

OMG Gaia, there's another website with Abayas based in the USA, can't remember for the life of me what it's called but was gonna recommend it to you. Argghh. They have really nice abayahs as well :/

Check out Royal Rickshaw and the lady who did Paris Hilton's mint green one in Dubai does stunning designs as well (can't remember her name).. Interesting styles to draw inspiration from..

I like akhawat abayas. I think they are in the UK, but they are very expensive. I love that they do these harem type pants underneath and the kaam on their hijabs is gorgeous. totally want to own one of their pieces one day.

They have a website, but it doesn’t seem to be working right now for me. try it out and see if you can see their work. none of their good stuff is on facebook

assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakathuhu sister im not sure if you still need pictures but here are some : (im not sure if your sister is into colofrul abayas..i threw abayahs..jilbabs(I think..i use them interchangeably) btw, im always searching for abayas for weddings so jazakiAllahu khair for the thread sis..do share where your sister gets her fancy abaya from (i need more ideas for myself!! )
