They are not Pashtun, they are of Pashtun descent, there is a difference.

Mother-tongue/first-language defines ones ethnicity.

The people you mentioned are Punjabi and Urdudan, some of their ancestors were Pashtun.

We are all equal anyway, I don’t understand the obsession with ancestory.

Being a Pashtun or not being a Pashtun does not make anyone better or worse than anyone else… Taqwa is all that matters.

whoa…urdu is actually my second language so that means ethnically I am not a Pakistani anymore..but of Pakistani ancestry
