I think because we see them dressed as brides in almost every movie they star in, Bollywood actresses don't have that WOW factor that most brides do when they get married in real life. Anyone agree?

I agree with you Bollywood Diva, they don't look that great as compared to Pakistanis or their on-screen looks. Most Indians end up going for the totally traditional look, so much so that it really looks paindu. Their makeup is always bad, and I think they overload themselves with too much traditional zardozi. Dabka and kora everywhere you look. No relief to the eye. The outfits looks as if they're consuming the girl.

Even the Indian brides here in the US are sooo bad looking, especially on their ceremonies. They've gotten more modern on their receptions, but they look so un-bridal there (no dupatta, bad hairstyle, hardly any jewelry) that you can't even tell who's wedding it is.

Okay, I found a wedding picture of a Pakistani bride. Iffat Rahim was married in 1999.

Weird thing is that these women CAN look good on screen when they’re dressed elegantly with a decent amount of makeup to highlight certain features, so why not do the same on your big day? I agree with u about the overloading over zardosi/dabka etc Just shows u CAN have too much of a good thing!

look at iffat rahim n indian brides ..u ll see a difference ..I don understand why does indian looks bad on their wedding day ..
