every one is so sad. TV channels are showing different celebrities condolences. What little I watched at a news channel, there were Nana patikar, Omer Shareef, Qavi khan and now Bushra Ansari. Those who called their voices are heavy with tears.... and ofcourse every one on every news channel here. Obviously he was a beloved person of so many. Including all of us who are sharing our feeling of grief here. People so silently make their own place in our lives, hearts and leave a chaos when they leave.

I know..and Moin Akhter, this guy is the biggest loss of all, we won't see a legendary screen personality like his ever again. He had fans both sides of the border.
I dont know why but I have never shed a tear on anyone's demise but somehow hearing about him I have tears coming like crazy. Cant stop them......May Allah bless him with Jannah. ameen

Moin Akther Sb's Namaz-e-Janaza will be Today 23rd April 2011 after Namaz-e-Zuhar at Masjid-e-Tauheed, Malir Cantt Karachi Pakistan. I would like to request especially my fellow Karachites to do drop by even if its for the Dua.
what a delightful person he was to watch on tv. As a kid if I knew he is on the cast of any drama serial I would get so happy and excited, and he never disappointed. Brilliant improvisations and impersonations throughout his career. Definitely brought tears to my eyes alongwith millions of Pakistanis who loved and adored this man! May Allah bless your soul and thanks for entertaining us Moin Bhai!
I am so surprised to see that this thread has only reached to 3 pages so far. Usually a third class and a pathatic topic in life 1 and cafe goes on and on and to so many pages within a day time. We are one pathatic and unthankful nation, no doubts.

Just watched Geo's tribute to Moin Akhtar with shaista having Tehseen javaid, zeba shahnaz, javaid sheikh, umar sharif etc and seeing them crying their hearts out shows how amazing and much loved he was by everyone, there will NEVER be another Moin Akhtar ever and it breaks my heart that we already have a shortage of such amazing people as a nation :(
Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji'un... A great loss to the nation. May Allah grant him maghfira and a place in Jannah..
He will surely be missed and like Behroz said in a live-call to a programme on PTV: The empty place he left behind can never be filled by anyone else. :(
its third day today and my mind just cant focus on anything but to remember Sir Moin Akhtar! he was the greatest Pakistani and human being. he left too soon! :(:(....
