Family Planning?

But again our Ulema are the biggest hurdle in controlling population!

Re: Is Karachi really modern?

yaar dont call those ullu ulema, disgraces the word. we have very few Ulema, many halwa khor darrhiyal hadd harams though

Re: Is Karachi really modern?

They ask people to have as many children as they can! And when they grow, they ask them to send to their so called maddaressas.

Re: Is Karachi really modern?

Yaaaay way to go muslimsssss.

Keep them coming to kick kafirs off from their illegal invasions.

Produce as many muslims as you can. Make faujs in your home.

Re: Is Karachi really modern?

Allah feed them and Allah take care of them.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy

Re: Is Karachi really modern?

You are talking like Ullu Ulema here. They are doing their job and you are eating halwa manda and spending time on web like had harams and they are not doing that.

Re: Family Planning?

Its very simple to understand
you bring someone to this world - you are responsible for upbringing too.

Where does Islam say to keep having babies and leave them on their own so they can turn into some hopeless adults (nation) in future.

Isn't it sinful to keep bringing babies to this world and leave them without any basic necessasities - no food, no clothing, sick, crying poor kids ...
Don't we see young innocent kids on roads whose lives are ruined - who is responsible?
should we wait for Allah to send Mano-salwa for them??

Re: Family Planning?

Heera, I certainly hope you're joking. As cliched as it sounds, think of the children! What happens when poor people have too many kids? You end up with kids begging on the streets, kids with not enough food, no education, no shelter (remember that Pakistan is not a welfare state by any means). Kids who are sexually assaulted and molested as they work the streets (very very common in Pakistan), kids who will likely become criminals as they grow up (crime which would certainly affect those that are comfortable in their lives such as yourself). You have girls with no literacy, girls who will then grow up to pop out kid after kid with serious consequences to her own health, much less the children. You have high unemployment, a disenfranchised segment of the population, and a weakened nation. China implemented a one child policy, and it's only been good for them. They're a force to reckon with. If it were in my hands, I wish there could be a mandatory sterilization policy in Pakistan after two kids maximum. If you want more, go adopt.

Re: Is Karachi really modern?

quantity doesn't win - its the quality.

lets go back & observe our Prophet's (PBUH) life. Didn't he win all the ghazwaa with just handful of people. So how did that happen....
:)

Re: Family Planning?

One of my freinds is a very educated guy! He became a fan of some fanatic mullah! Now he has 5 kids and plans to have more in the future! But I think his life is miserable although he claims to leading a satisfactory life!

Re: Family Planning?

:)

Re: Family Planning?

Two of my taya's sons:

  1. One has been planning his family - three kids only! Leading a happy life!

  2. His other brother - 6 kids - leading a miserable life despite earning more than his brother!

Re: Family Planning?

One of the reasons he quotes for his support of a large family - he wants to be taken to grave on the shoulder of his sons - so the number of sons should at least be 4!

Re: Family Planning?

I think people with children are least miserable.

People who can't have children or their children die are more miserable.

And the most miserable people are those who abort and kill their children.

Re: Family Planning?

Quran tells us about youm al Alast ... Alastu' be rabbekum; qaalu bala

that means, no matter how much family planning is being done, those souls who are destined to come and are sleeping in Aalam-e-Barzakh will come...

Go ahead do family planning as much as you can :D
