thats the million dollar question, its not just Malik Riaz wants SC to drop cases against him, there is more to it, Zardari/Army what would they benefit from all this, I’m sure, this isnt happening without Zardari approval. I had read somewhere, that there were few cases lined up for CJ in next few months, which include NRO case against President, Rehman Malik Dual Nationality Case and Memogate and few others linked to government/Army!
there were alot of rumors that Army/ISI is not happy with CJ, so perhaps they want to defame and force him to step down, but again, its too early to say this!
