At the moment I think Malik riaz might be thinking all the consequences of his court appearance.

If he comes to court and presents evidences against the chief justices son, and if he is punished in that case, in pursuing that all the internal working of bahria town can come to light. After punishment to his son I think bad time will start for all the corrupt individuals of the country.

InshaAllah … we can hope for the best. Anyhow, it is hard for me to believe that Iftikhar can really do anything to punish corrupts in Pakistan. Not only because Iftikhar himself is corrupt, bias and dishonest, but because judiciary do not have teeth.

For punishment we need someone determined, honest, and powerful from executives … either one who may take the power by force like army general or one who may came into power by deception like politician.

What if Malik riaz turns the tables and says to the court that there was no dealing between him and arsalan, family gate would close and a few anchors and their media house would be in trouble but still the cases against him would be in the courts.

Well, if several journalists on oath declare that they saw the evidences themselves then evidences they claim would become established regardless of what Malik Riaz would/could claim regarding non-existence of proofs he shown to journalists. Actually, most cases in world are contested on statements under oath and several statements under oath becomes establish evidence. Actually, people making statements under oath are called witnesses.

That is different matter that Pakistani Supreme Court full of corrupt judges may use Malik Riaz claims to make the case null and void, especially when case is against son of their boss.

Under all circumstances I feel bad times for the tycoon and good times for the country have begun, may Allah help us all in this.

Brother, you should know that corruption (I mean corruption in country that affects the country and all living in the country) can be done ONLY by those in government posts. Civilians can only do crime (bribing is crime) and those in power, if they are not corrupt, could punish people guilty of crime.

So, pray that bad times come for all corrupts in power (politicians, bureaucrats, judiciary, law enforcement agencies, lowly government servants, etc). If that would happen, then all civilians taking advantage of corruption in government to further themselves would get sorted out itself.
