Failing the Baloch

Re: Failing the Baloch

^ Makran coastal highway is pre-Mush project. My apologies but it was Mushy's fist swinging attitude that incited Baluchis the most. His idea of larger scale operation with indiscriminate kidnappings and killings in Baluchistan has resulted in many educated Baluchis taking up arms.

Re: Failing the Baloch

Yes, articles about Balochistan are always exaggerated but articles about Kashmir are always the gospel truth :snooty:

Re: Failing the Baloch

The project was launched and completed in his time. I guess people pre-bhutto can come and take the credit for the nuke program as well (pakistan had a fledgling nuke research program) but do we do that?

Re: Failing the Baloch

Oh, now all of a sudden what US and British tell you are gospel.

Re: Failing the Baloch

Seriously dude, are you like the Tariq Aziz of India?

The issue here isn't whether or not India is involved (because they definitely are), but why we are in the position where we let them get involved.

Re: Failing the Baloch

the issue is people like you unable to face the real problem within Pakistan and Balochistan in particular and instead continue the denial by blaming India and cooking up theories

Re: Failing the Baloch

India are part of the problem, not all of it. I'm willing to acknowledge Balochistan as a large scale failure by the Pakistani government. You just have your panties in a twist because your mahaan Bharat couldn't possibly be meddling in another country's internal affairs while blaming Pakistan of the same everyday.

Re: Failing the Baloch

It was conceived before Musharaf but it was ignored until Musharaf came to power. Since the PPP came to power road building in Balochistan has halted.

Re: Failing the Baloch

It is true and sad.
I give you a simple example.
Chromite is the mineral which is available in such a great quantity in Baluchistan that you can find it every where. Its rate is more than ten thousands rupees per ton (Lower grade)and you can buy ten man دس من
wheat for that. But people of Baluchistan are hungry. This is fault of our system also and system there but it was liability of our rulers to correct that slowly and timely.

Re: Failing the Baloch

What has your PPP govt done to help them out?? apart from ANNOUNCING some packages ( these packages never got materialized)

Re: Failing the Baloch

Kashmir? Care to explain, I didn’t get it

no the issue is indians like you unable (or not willing) to admit the role your country is playing in Pakistan. :hehe:

Re: Failing the Baloch

Its because the Punjab is not letting them do it…

Re: Failing the Baloch

Pakistan’s involvements has been clearly proven and admitted to by your leaders, in the mumbai attack for example. Face it.

On the other hand, even your prime minister had to backtrack after vainly claiming he handed a dossier of evidence of Indian involvement in Baloch to MM Singh! :rotfl:

Re: Failing the Baloch

RAW has got nothing to do with Balochistan.

Re: Failing the Baloch

Those who think Baloch issue has come up out of a blue moon is really wrong. The issue has been there for decaded. It started off with the partition of Pakistan and the independence struggle was fought ffrom time to time.It was Mr.Zia who had managed to oppress it in 1970'S , but a calculatd risk taking by Mr.Musharaff went wrong by the assassination of Mr.Bugti in 2006.Ever since it has grown out of proportion. Those who say it is a low-level insurgency are clearly ignorant of the fact that Balochis have succeeded in dominating in various parts of Balochistan. They are inflicting casualities over the F.C,compelled `outsiders' to leave Balochistan, carrying out almost daily I.E.D attacks on pipelines and ofcourse the unwritten will of various armed groups are operating almost everywhere.

Abductions for ransom targeted killings and missing persons have become a order of the day in Blaochistan.

Re: Failing the Baloch

Joke of the day! :rotfl:

Mumbai attack ------> Pakistan/ISI looool
Kashmir -------> Pakistan/ISI looool
A dog dies in india ------> Pakistan/ISI looool

Balochistan unrest ------> HUN??? RAW/india? ARE YOU SERIOUS? HELLLL NOOO? ----> HEL YES! :hehe:

Re: Failing the Baloch

I have to say that I have to agree with PZ here even though I think Pakistan didn't do enough in balochistan. If you switch the accusers and accusees, I am sure India would be having a field day with pakistani involvement. India was also trying to link Maoists in NE of India but that didn't get any traction and indians still don't admit (some might but not majority) that they treated kashmir like **** or the fact that it was their congressi leaders who were guilty of partition, much more so than Jinnah, since it is easier to villify a muslim fifth-columnist than face the real issues. I know many indians have this dream of being the America of south asia, but they have yet to have to come to terms with their skeletons in the closet or have as much freedom of expression to critique that america does.

Re: Failing the Baloch

I am commenting on the various articles about "human rights violations" in Kashmir which are eagerly lapped up in Pakistan :)

Re: Failing the Baloch

Whatever. Kashmiri people in india are treated like animals, and I suppose you already know that. Rapes, killings and so on....
No need to compare them with articles about Balochistan.

Re: Failing the Baloch

So nothing ever happens in kashmir. I see that we just found proof of the narrow-minded indian mentality.
