Facts are just altar-reality.The facts that are universal and never changing. They can become subjective too and it depends upon many factors, such as religious facts. What I as a muslim believe to be a fact may not be taken as a fact by non-muslims.
Important thing is that as long as reality remains a fact, accept it as a fact but when fact is changed to reality, then seek and search for evidence.

bhai. If scientists want to be progeny of apes, I have no problem. I will rather disaccosiate myself from that dis-illusioned fact and accept the religious fact of I being the son of Adam - who was a special creation.

You must have heard of 'Flat Earth Socitey". Even in this day and age, they have over 1000 members who believe that earth is flat. No fact can change thier belief in flat earth.

Sometimes, the things that we are being convinced with are not reality. And sometimes, reality has such an ugly face that our hearts do not want to accept it as a fact - and when that happens, people end up hurting themselves. So the solution is to have an insensitive heart.. may be!
