Ok so I have been looking to buy new eyeshadows…Estee Lauder has really nice sparkling and shiny eye shades…but they are too expensive 
…so I can only buy a few, not a whole collection…so I wanted to know where you girls buy ur eye shades from…something that is shiny, not too expensive, and in a kit (if possible)… Plz make suggestions. Thanks.

I have 4 shades in a box frm Body shop , they r shinny n sparkling n are in gry/black pink/orange silver n gold shade ..since i bought em i stoped using nething else ..try em ..i think they called shimmer cubes ..

Buy those revlon creme shades… they cost $6 for 4 colors, $10 for 10 colors, though I got my palettes from a discount store. Covergirl’s eyeshadows are also good, rite aid’s always having some sale on makeup, buy one get one free, buy one, get one 50 percent off etc etc… ill post my eyeshadows later

I don't know what your budget is for eyeshadows.....but personally, I've never been a huge fan of the colors or the staying power of grocery store brand eyeshadows. In my opinion(and experience), MAC makes the best eyeshadows. They have tons of colors to choose from, the colors show up very vivid, and last all day.
Even though their website says $13 for each eyeshadow, when I buy mine from the MAC store(not counters at malls), they charge $9.50.

Have to agree with lost, MAC makes the best eyeshadows. They last forever (one lasted 4-5 years!) My favourite colour was 'haze' but they discontinued it in Canada, don't know about overseas or in USA. Anyways, I suggest staying away from the blue shades especially if you are not totally light skinned. I bought a light blue shimmery one and it looked terrible on my medium tan skin. It ended up looking more greyish than blue. I have 20 MAC shadows. I bought a revlon one, but it didn't last so all day and you really have to use a lot of shadow.

I haven't tried MAC yet....they are cheaper than Estee Lauder...but I wanted a kit...where they at least have 4 eyeshadows or more so that I don't have tons of individual shadows...

MAC- longest lasting no doubt. Plus you really dont need that many shadows, some basic colors in matt (sp?) and shimmer and you can mix and blend to get new looks. Blue makes me look like i have a bruise!!!

Estee lauder has one out - they're selling it at all the macy's. Its a kit and its got like 7 or 8 eyeshadow colors. Its got this brown leather case. Very nice colors, and very diverse too.
For 25.00 dollars.

Well, I live in Houston right by the Galleria Mall. In the Galleria, of course there are MAC counters at Foley’s, Dillard’s etc. BUT there is also a separate MAC store in the mall. That’s where I got the shadow’s for $9.50.
If you go to MAC’s site, go to “Collections”, and then click on “Holiday/Luxuries”, you’ll see that right now they have kits with 6 different shades for $34.
Someone else already mentioned the awesome Estee Lauder kit with 7 shades for $25. They also have another kit with 5 shades for $35.
Lancome has kits with 6 different shades for $38.
Clinique has kits with 4 shades for $25.
You can check out all the different colors on these kits on all the company sites.

buy the eye shadow base they have at mac. with that, you can use any brand of shadows u like.
i use lancome and highly recommend that brand. and do take advantage of the holiday steals.

Lost, do u think all mac stores sell them for 950 or is it like a special deal in ur area or somethin? I'd lov to buy mac shadows but ughh too spensive :(

Sara honestly I’m not sure why the this MAC store sold it for $9.50. Aren’t there any MAC stores in the malls near you? Have you checked the exact prices there?
Also, did you check out the 3 different kits MAC has on their web site? Those kits has 6 different shades and the whole kit is $34. It definately beats the price of buying the 6 colors separately.
