yeah...i cant do the heavy stuff...makes me look like a clown...plus...black liner/makeup is soooo 80's
no chanda you're so prettymashallah and i'm sure nice eyemakeup will look nice on you......it's just that you have to pick colors that go with your skintone you know ....like on olive skin tones that are more towards the darker or tanned shade, jewel colored shadows look nice.....so i'm sure if you pick colors that complement your skin tone it'll look great

i was talking about black eyeliner...i am not a big fan of it....i find brown..subtle blue..khaki green...much much more appealing....

well you are light skinned and black would be overwhelming for daily wear so brown is better ....i wear brown or blue usually and black only for special occasions
lol bold colors! well it all depends i guess....depends on what the shape of your eye is you can apply the eyeshadow with different styles.....i've seen that on deep set eyes one bold color looks nice and on bigger eyes that are not deepset, you can do 2 toned eyeshadows ...try watching youtube videos for different ideas....helps a lot
Ok so here is the shalwar kameez i was talking about - in the picture you can see gold work it also has a touch of red which probably you cant see and the dupatta is also red..now tell me someone which eyeshadow would suit?
ohh the blue looks more deep and navy-ish than royal or cobalt blue.. uhm, yeah i'd say uc an do gold shadow wht a touch of navy blue..and for lips a coppery red wud look nice.

i trieeed....black anything looks weird on me...i tried the fake lashes..(in black)..black liner overwhelmed me....yuck...brown looked better (lashes and mascara)...with shimmery deep brown liner..yaayy! and light green (khaki) eyeshadow...
Chanda u're Mashallah pretty fair..any blacks will look harsh on u. Try jade's and soft powdery blue's. Guerlain has VERY pretty colored kohl's you cud try!
^ yeah..if you want the red lip look...go with matte....and just dab it on...dont line the lips...i have noticed the lined lips makes you look over done...i didnt do it for my nikkah...that was one suggestion my makeup artist actually agreed on!! :)
dark lips have polished look about them...if you wear them often...go easy on the eyes.....

yep i wouldn't suggest you wearing black either and fake lashed in black lol chanda mashallah you're so light skinned that ofcourse they'll look odd
and yes brown and plum or blue would look nice on you
i personally love adding a jewel green liner on the top or bottom lids sometimes for parties or something :D

Red doesnt suit me at all honest otherwise i have like 10 different shades, i look so old and my mother then gets mad at me because she thinks it gets over - i will do the gold and blue liner but more options/help are always welcome you see.
well you can always try lighter shades of red but if you dont like it then try the gold idea with blue liner
you should keep the make up light since your dress is dark already
