thanks sara :). so the smokey eye...is it all copperish with a hint of magenta? do you use black eyeliner and smudge that to make it smokey or do you make the smokey part with the golds/pinks? i also want to do false eyelashes because they look sooooooo nice :). btw, whats the best base to use for full coverage (for acne and some scars and redness) without looking too caked up? i'm thinking of going to MAC to get my makeup done. good idea or not? should
Oh yeah, add a touch of black eye liner just smudge it really well to make it look dark.. I guess mac has good foundation, u can always go wiht a mac artist, show her your outfit and they can work wiht you on hwat you want and what they think will look good

yea i would say get it done from MAC......you only get engaged once :)

so i went for a trial at MAC and got copperish eye makeup done (without the false lashes for now).
i personally didn’t like the look as much as i thought i would. it seems a bit too dark and much. i think i’d rather go with a simpler and lighter shade of copper/gold without the “smoked” look or maybe just a lighter pinkish/gold shade on the entire lid with false lashes. what do you guys think? or should i go for a gold tone on my entire lid with pink/magenta on the outer edge?
my suit is a magenta colored anarkali style pashwaas with copper beads and kaam. here’s a picture of the color without giving away the suit
