kajal, mascara, lighter eye shades, earthen and cool in colors, following the contours of your eye lids and shape of the eyebrow,
always use shades that compliment your complexion.

i got this new brand of eyeshadow as a gift…called INGLOT…i love it!! here’s what i did on a mehndi…and love the fact that the eye shadow did fade away by the end of the night…

It has blue, green, pink, bronze and yellow in the eyeshadow, eyeliner and false eyelashes…

You can see a fair bit of eye lid so I wouldn't say your eyes are small.
I do like the colours that you used, I've never heard of INGLOT though.

Teelo, yeah I think you can do what afshi did with her eyes, it would go with your outfit. Instead of the pink add red.
I've done one on the other thread 'eye shadow help' to match your outfit, do you think you can do that one?
This is how I did it...
Conceal blemishes then use some foundation, make sure your foundation is blended around the eyes but not on the eyelids, it can be a bit heavy for the lids. But also make sure your eyelids are not greasy either you dont want your shadow to crease. I dont use a primer, but you could do...
Apply a black eye shadow initially, then on top of that the blue shadow, cover only as far as the crease, not above it. Then blend out carefully not to go too far out of the eyelids onto the crease. Line the upper lid lash line with a black kajal so its all covered. Put the bronze as a crease colour and blend into the blue and above that apply the gold and blend that into the bronze and then you can apply a highlighter colour were I used a pearlised white on the browbone and blend that into the gold.
You can apply the black/blue on the lower lash line if you like, which is what I did. Apply the mascara the eyes are complete.
Apply the blush, I do mine with a smile and apply it on the apple of my cheeks.
Make sure your lips are moisturised beforehand and apply a neutral lip colour with a tinted or clear lipgloss.
Done. :)

lol really? no ones ever said that to me, I've got told I look a bit like bipasha because of similar eye shape and rani because of similar smile but never rekha...thanks though, I'm really very flattered! :)

ok, so my mangni outfit is a deep magenta with copper colored beads, kaam and sequins...what colors should i use for my eye shadow??

The first thing with a day or night look is to get the right base. depends on ur skin type and the condition of ur skin, a glowing face always makes a person look great , also a healthy complexion . a nice natural blush is also a MUST. Once u have the base right then focus on eyes . Invest in a good mascara . I would recommend Lancome mascara (NO1) in the world , who would have thought!
The best thing is to send me a pic and ill give u a personal make up consultation via GUPSHUP! That way illl be able to tell u exactly what colours and things u should aim to use! xxxxxx

i would love to get more help and i remember some girl at the lancome section telling me how the mascara is no1 apparently and i have em but it gets too heavy for the day for me so i just use estee lauder which is lighter

oh... lately i've seen copper/antique colored/gold/etc "neutral" eyeshadows with coordinating lipstick...thats kinda the trend now it seems, instead of colored shadow and lipstick. It seems as if the focus of makeup is to make your features stand out and to make yuou look beautiful.. not necessarily to match with the outfit..thankfully! As for your outfit I'd do a gold/copperish smokey eye with a hint of magenta and heavy liner. For lips, Estee Lauder makes this perfect color called "Tiger Eye", its a coppery gold and it goes great alone or mixed with different colored lipliners and glosses.

thanks sara :). so the smokey eye...is it all copperish with a hint of magenta? do you use black eyeliner and smudge that to make it smokey or do you make the smokey part with the golds/pinks? i also want to do false eyelashes because they look sooooooo nice :). btw, whats the best base to use for full coverage (for acne and some scars and redness) without looking too caked up? i'm thinking of going to MAC to get my makeup done. good idea or not? should
