galz i think dat this is also a problem for those who have big eyes to maintain their eyes shape…i hv big eyes n whenever i apply liner upper n lower lid then i feel like it doest nt luk as impressive as it should b ot t luks so harsh or solid type…not a beautiful soft luk dat should b well balanced into face…so plzz share ur tips for application of kajol,liner on wide shaped big eyes…?

The eyeliner needs to be very thin from the inner corner of the eye.. and become thicker towards the ends of u're lashes. Also, when you line your waterline also line u're top waterline with the same kajal/kohl or eye-pencel. I smudge a little dark eye-shadow underneath my lower lashes at times..

I'd suggest you to use liquid eye liner and use it the way Gina told you, going thin from the inner corner and thickening it at the end.

juss apply too much of kajal and then mascara if u find difficulties in liner.

Use white pencil on the lid and underneath lower lashes with kajal in water line for a refreshing look

no that will make them look big and sometimes bug like, trust me i have big eyes and it's not a good idea i agree with what gina said start thin and go thick on the outer corners. the other day i bought lashes and glue and was so excited to play with a kim kardashian look until i realized my lid is way longer than the lashes LOL So i asked a makeup artist friend of mine and she told me to use singles or to add more lashes by buying another pair and cutting it to fit my length. I hve to say i'm highly tempted to do the eyelash perm thing bc even when i curly my lashes it doesn't hold all night.

SweetLil, just use 3/4ths of the lashes on the outer corners only.. it looks natural! Yup, white or any pastel in the waterline will make them appear larger.

Putting white in water line makes them pop out. Not if you put it on lashline.

you can put some pencil liner or kajal on upper lid and smudge it will help you in mystifying your eyes and made them look better an bigger length wise not wider or pop out sort.ok put some liner on lower lid (it must be thin)and then put some shadow of bright origin beneath the liner an smudge it with your finger.

omg im soo glad someone started this forum! i have the same problem...mashallah i have big wide eyes...but I feel like wearing too much eyeliner makes the shape deformed and actually doesn't look good...I LOVVEEE the bottome eyeliner on some people it looks soo seductive for example, kareena kapoor, when she only lines her bottom eyes with black eyeliner, it looks soo nice! and also she has big eyes, but when I put it on my bottom rim, i look gross, and fobby.. and i dont' like my eyes..thats why i stopped wearing eyeliner on the bottom and just wear it on the top...When I do line the bottom rims I use a Navy Blue eyeliner and I like how that looks better than the dark black...maybe you guys should try that?

I love using navy blue liner on my lower lashes only and a thin amount of black on the top, by thin i stress how thin. It makes your eyes kinda freshen up and a few of my girlfriends were late in realizing my eyes had navy on and when they did they all said it looked really nice. I am so glad I watched Kajol in My name is Khan because that's where I got the idea. Rarely can i ever say bollywood gave me a fashion or beauty tip lol.

i guess its all about trying out the different looks, i personally have tried doing the upper lash line, thin from inner corner and thicker on the outer but it didnt suit me,, so what i have found looks good on me is just applying the liner on the outer half of upper lash line and then entire lower lash line and then just lightly smudging it out. works for me! oh and doing the upper water line is a must!
