=Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

there is this great kajal its shaped like a small pen and one you open it its a pointy endless soft bar of kajal and you just open ur bottom eye lid and gently put the kajal on ur inner eyelid it works great ive been using it for years. its made by "Hashmi" brand and does sometimes spread but if you put a thin layer its just a perfect inner eye liner i get compliments everytime i wear it at weddings!!

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

^ Yeah thats good and v easy to apply, i used to use it too until i read about the lead.

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

i never heard it has lead???

Definitely, i think thick eyeliner is very appealing.

Hi Ladies...where can you purchase hashmi kajal from in the UK?

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

^ u can purchase it from most asian shops depending on where u live

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

i use rimmel eyeliner and i line my waterline with it and its awesome comes out proper dark

**MAC sells Kajal?? Under what name??

Mascara I have only used DiorShow and would swear by it!**

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

OoOoOo

I either use Rimmel or Sleek. I really don’t know the difference like it just depends on how skilled and good you are doing it right? I like to leave a little flick and then just eye pencil the bottom eyelid. I like the Egyptian look but I soo don’t think it’ll work on me anyways so yeah :bummer:

Girls please suggest an eyeliner (pencil) which doesnt smudge and stay in place! .. I have used Gosh, Estee Lauder and currently using HB and they all smudge or disappear after a few hours .. not as intense anymore :( .. please!!

Whether your eyeliner bleeds, disappears, smudges etc can depend on how teary your eyes are! MAC has a few different types of eyeliners (in response to Pakifairy's question!)

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

Please check ebay if you want to purchase hashmi product. Enter keywords : HASHMI KAJAL SURMA & user 'spicebazzar' is UK based n has few kajals available.

.

please cleaer one thing here, wen we apply eyeliner on the bottom only 1/3 way in, should we start wearing it from the outer corner covering 1/3 way or shud we start from the inner corner?

please clear that as i m very bad at makeup, specially eye liners, also suggest me which kajal/pencil/ eyelines should be used that leaves a long lasting effect and dont smudge???

i have big eyes and hate them!!! anyhow yes eyeliner on the lower lid does make them appear smaller i've noticed a giant different my eyes don't look nearly as frog like haha

sometimes i do like to wing out the ends and on days that i take the time to curl my super straight eyelashes i use very little liner on the top that way it looks a lot more natural and daytime friendly.

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

Oooh - this is a question that needs illustrations!! But since I can't right now....

Depending on how you put the eyeliner/shadow/kajal on, you can create very different looks.

From a 60's look with a liquid eyeliner, to a natural day look with a deep brown pencil....
The smokey eyes to the bollywood "china doll with too much makeup" look. Lol.

I'll post pics for examples when I hit my 25.....

Oh - P.S. I am a MUA (Make-up Artist), but not for weddings, more for art/fashion.

i used this desi kajal
and my eyes starting hurting after a couple of days and when i luked i found out out it was like this pimpke thingy on my Lower lash line where id been using the kajal ..at first i thought it was something else but whenever i use it ..i get those pimples ...ughh

really looking forward for ur example pics and some tips n techniques for specially for giveing eyes a bigger look, as i m just a beginner , :(

Re: =Eye Liner Difference in Eye Shape!

Can any of you recommend an eyeliner that a novice like me can apply?

Natasha.... you need to stop using that kajal ASAP. Those 'pimples' you're getting on your eyes can turn into a stye or chalazion, which is like a big bump on ur eyelid and can take months to go away, or if it gets really bad, you would need to have minor surgery to have it removed. Your eye is having an allergic reaction to the ingredients in your kajal, so please switch to a different brand.
