^ Youre the one whose not making any sense Gen. Alvi key 'family friend', as if we dont know who you are. You think Musharraf fired him in order to reward him for his esteemed services. Why dont you tell us why he was forcibly retired, for doing such a great job?

You seem to know so much about everyone yet you can't tell us a single real fact. No use for this discussion. Have fun believing what you want.

haha running away so fast? Like I said the only thing we know is that this General was let go by Musharraf, for conduct unbecoming of an officer. Now that is a fact, your personal rishteydari stories arent.

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

On the one hand you're asking me to tell you why he retired early and then saying that my personal information is not relevant. You're very confused.

All your information is based on a news article, which misses some details. But you've made up your mind, so it doesn't matter what I say anyways.

One can only bring a horse to water...

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

Do you know how to read?

This is what the article says, from the news, a trusted news site, especially compared to your non-existent ristheydaar tales.

**Alvi was forcibly retired from the Army on* disciplinary grounds ‘for conduct unbecoming’ by Gen Musharraf in August 2005.*

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

The same article also says who was likely behind his death, yet you ignore that. Selective blindness?

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

Alvi being disgracefully retired on disciplinary grounds by Musharraf = FACT
Who killed him = OPINION

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

Alvi's operations in FATA killed dozens of terrorists from Mehsud group and AQ. FACT
Motive to kill him lies with jihadi sympathizers - FACT
Alvi's retirement from army - RED HERRING

I don't know how you reached your conclusion, but feel free to ask for clarification.

Stop posting kahaniz after getting Pwned, Alvi was disgracefully and forcibly retired for bad conduct by Musharraf, and thats the only fact here. Your obsession with jihadis Mr. k.. err Wahid Dayoom and your ristheydari stories are irrelevant here. This guy was offed by the intelligence, plain and simple. Militants dont go after retired and disgraced military officers, who hold a beef against their own military leaderships.

bit of an update on this:
Lashkar-i-Taiba killed Gen Alvi, court told

RAWALPINDI: A charge-sheet submitted by police in an anti-terrorism court says that a banned religious outfit assassinated former commander of Special Services Group Gen Aamir Faisal Alvi to avenge the role he played in the fight against militants in Fata.

According to the charge-sheet prepared by Islamabad’s Koral police against Major (retd) Haroon Ashiq, a resident of Azad Kashmir; Mohammad Nawaz Khan, of Peshawar; and Ashfaq Ahmed, of Okara, the murder was ordered by Ilyas Kashmiri who provided funds and weapons.

ATC-II Judge Sakhi Mohammad Kahot was to formally indict the accused on Tuesday, but he adjourned the hearing till May 23 because of lawyers’ strike.

During interrogation in a kidnapping for ransom case, the accused told police they had been ordered to kill Gen Alvi, who had spearheaded a commando operation against militants at Angor Adda in South Waziristan in 2004 when a large number of Arabs, Uzbeks, Chechens, Afghans and local Taliban were killed.

The three were arrested by industrial area police for trying to kidnap a businessman.

Police said the alleged killers, who belonged to the banned Lashkar-i-Taiba, followed the general when he left his residence in Bharia Town on the day of the attack for his private office in Islamabad and killed him and his driver near PWD Colony.

Police said the accused were given money and weapons for the attack by Ilyas Kashmiri and Irfan, another man working for the militants. The three men were also involved in many cases of murder and kidnapping for ransom.

In another development, the Lahore police obtained legal custody of Maj (retd) Haroon Ashiq and Mohammad Nawaz Khan to interrogate them in a case relating to the murder of Dr Abdul Saboor Malik of Sheikh Zayed Hospital, who was killed in Model Town on January 16 this year.

"Ex-"army officers as members of LeT and involved in terrorism. Proof once again of the failed Ziaist policies of our security establishment and traitors like Nasrullah Baber.

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

i have been keeping tabs on this case for awhile now..i agree it was militants who targetted mr alvi..there are however a few points which makes this a bit confusing for people

1) Mr Alvi himself accused elements in the military of colloborating with the militants and was said to have evidence.
2) How did the militants get the name of a senior general who led operations against them in FATA?
3) The kidnapping rackets Haroon ashiq was running shows one way these groups work across provinces and raise money

Re: Extremist Islamist terrorist strikes again in Pindi - Retired SSG command shot de

Zakk:

1) Yes that is one major reason for why there has been a lot of speculation that the militants didnt do this
2) I dont find this difficult esp given that one of the three arrested is a retired major. Even had that not been the case this must have got coverage in atleast some news? Seeing how professionally it was done I think they did quite a bit of homework on the guy.
3) Yep, its strange though how supposedly religiously motivated people can justify kidnappings/robberies etc.

So finally the neo-hindu zionist group has been identified !!! We knew all along that RAW / CIA / MOSSAD / RAM / MI- 5 & 6 were supporting this group !!!
