I’m getting a few interests from nice guys who have extra lbs on them, and I feel bad rejecting them, because of the very fact that they’re nice and reasonably educated people.
Should I just tell them, hey if you can lose 20 lbs, contact me in a few months and see if I’m still available? :o
Some people are a little extra-weight, which I usually tolerate, but the ones that I draw a line are the ones where you will need a surgical procedure, or you might need to be on Weightwatchers plus hire a personal trainer for at least 12 months to notice a difference.
PCG, you need to google pictures of Chris Pratt - pre- and post weight loss. Wow - what a difference!!!
Anna Faris married him when he was a little chubby and he gained more weight after they married (dunno if it was for his movie/TV roles). He’s lost a ton of weight - wowza, he looks totally different now that he’s buff!
What was the point I was trying to make Oh yes, now I remember: weight shouldn’t be the deciding factor, because Mr. Chubby can become Mr. Hotty after marriage. Just as easily as Miss Universe can become Mrs. Dumpy after marriage.
But I do agree with you, since a degree of attraction is necessary, and while I think most people find chubby okay, significantly overweight is a turnoff for most. You’re entitled to say no on that basis, just as a guy can say no on the basis of age and physical attractiveness.
Attn: overweight/obese men. If loss of weight to normal BMI, will learn to make daily haath ki roti + chai every afternoon + will give up job to make him feel better about himself.
