Hmmm as a Veteran I prefer helping newbies learn new skills and creating troops from scratch. People put newbies down far too much. Trouble with experienced thugs is that you cant control them so easily however there have been times when the experienced thug or two has proven very usefull... tough choice but I'll go with Newbies I always help the underdog :D More fun that way.

No offense Faris, first we are not at war here, nor we are selecting a general.. the problems at hand are because of the Generals...
When i want to hire someone in office at some responsible position, the first question normally is, what is your track record? how you have performed in your career?? and based on the answers and references the candidate is selected..
And when it comes to select the people who should be running the country for some reason we are advocating a newbie, who in this case would be Imran Khan. Let see what newbies have done to their countries in the name of Change... Obama is perfect case study, in presidential form of govt, all he had to do is to convince the voters and media that he means CHANGE, change of the policies which have ruin the economy of the country... and then there was no change but the continuation of what previous regimes were doing...
Question is, in a country like USA where corruption is not a big issue as we have, where institutes are strong where system does work and justice is available, why Obama failed to bring the change? Was he lying? was his promise of change was fake? or was he missing the required experience???

in current political climate........the newbie would be PTI (and any other new party)... and corrupt thugs would PPP,N-League, Q-League, ANP, MQM etc...

IK is only newbie in a sense that he is losing elections from last 10/12 years....warna politics main tu kafi purana hai but yeah he is not corrupt (money wise) as others are

yes.....i was saying being newbie at running a govt......because even the molvie bunch have had that opportunity under mushi.......and they were quite pathetic too........

Lets get one thing straight here, ML ( All Alphabets), PPP, MQM are just names of groups with different mindset and is composed of personalities who are per OP are corrupt thugs...
To some extent above is true... and now when we look at PTI, they are in business of hiring the thugs left out by these parties, Shahid Mairaaj son of Mian Mairaaj Deen, Once in PML-N, then Joined PML-Q, and when rejected by both is now part of PTI, Malik Zaheer Khokhar, Once in PPP, then changed his loyalties and joined PML-Q, and when rejected by both Q and PPP, have joined PTI. Jam Sahib of Las Bela is another example, and New example is Mian Azhar who, started his career from PPP ( Please correct me if i am wrong here) then joined, Zia and then continued with PML-N and then founded PML-Q as per the direction of agencies and Mushy and now when neither Q or N league is ready to get him back, he found new home in PTI...
Above are few, and based on above, how can we say that PTI is NEW? I would rather say that they are collecting what PPP, PML-N & Q are throwing out... and if my definition is true (i.e. party character is composed of the persons in the party) then comparatively PTI is neither old nor clean.

People of Pakistan wanted to support IK or anyone who can take them out of the mess, I think it is IK who do not want to lead the nation, posing as leader is easy, we have poser from last 60 odd years, acting like a leader is difficult and require real hard work.

Its not just an opinion about them being corrupt......its been proven with their track record....
^ in pakistan.........the leadership of the party matters than what the constituents.............. there are good people in both PPP and PMLs.........but why can't they do anything?? Yess....the leadership is principally corrupt.........
and you didn't reply to my point about 3rd alternative..........

Big people is not an issue here, or may be is the issue, had he developed people from last fifteen years, he may have many from middle-class known in public as symbol of change, but that doesn't happened, he made wrong decisions again and again and the perfect example is inclusion of dirt-bags in his party... which BTW have side lined likes of Hamid Khan and Justice (R) Wajeeh.
Anyway, coming back to your concern that why not him, then the question would be, should we have someone who have actually delivered in their limited period or somebody like IK who have no experience in dealing with bureaucracy and bureaucratical hurdles, compare to one who is not idealist but whenever in power economy does little better....
So the real question would be why him if he has same to offer?
Moreover, we have seen two flooding one last year and one this year, just check out what PPP have done for them in Balochistan and Sindh and what is status of flood victims are in Punjab, why would i risk PPP govt, currently voting for PTI candidate would same as voting for Q-league and PPP...
