Re: Exorcism in Christianity ?
According to your reasoning anyone who obeys God’s Word and do His Will do not have a free will? According to Jesus “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”, everyone needs to become like angels (your quote), by not having a will of their own, otherwise they can not be saved. Surely this is not logic?
One can have a free-will but can still place it under someone else (or curtail it’s use) out of your own free will. The will remains still free.
Correct! It is to rebel against God and that is exactly what Satan and other angels did. They therefor will also be punished. See for reference Ezekiel 28 and Revelation 12.
And this is what I mentioned earlier which is a difference between the two faiths. For what it is worth, Judaism has the same view as Christianity on this issue.
