what excuses have you given your professor(s) in order to get out of a test and/or class?

My friends were pro at this..of course we went to private school so we were babied.

Some of the excuses that were used:

My parents are getting divorced
MY cousin was raped…

what lol? my parents are...ok nm. My most common one is the stomach flu but u can only use it like once a semester. So I need more.

OR if theres any profs here, what kind of excuses do u guys get from students, and how do know if they're lying

i had to go hospital today…to see my uncle/aunt/cousin/whatever

i forgot i had school ( my friend used this one once, he got in so much trouble )

^THAT might actually work. But all the imp Islamic dates are written on a calendar, and if other Muslims in the class aren't taking off, the prof will know I'm lying.

i tired it once to get out of revision day and they actually looked it up on the net JUST to check if i was lying or not…obv. i was lying

^THAT might actually work. But all the imp Islamic dates are written on a calendar, and if other Muslims in the class aren't taking off, the prof will know I'm lying.

He really cant say anything even if he THINKS you are lying. Besides you can be observing something by yourself cant you (ie fasting, umrah etc)? :D

I've used stomach flu so many times now, I don't want it to be like the Boy Cried Wolf waala hisaab. It's harder to do it now though because they dont care whether you're sick, dying or dead.

I dont think the I had to give blood would fly.

Has anyone ever been caught?

The best way to get out of work is to call your boss up in the morning when you sound like a man and tell them you have strep throat. It actually works.

in my uni any medical excuse has to be properly documented to be a valid excuse...not sure about other uni's.

i write exams after giving blood

they’d probably say did you really have to give it today? you knew about the exam months in advance.
