who are you blaming? all the guys who have ever practised polygamy? Just because a few guys have ignored the obligation that comes with polygamy that means that polygamy is automatically ruled haram? Should we also change it in the Quran because afterall we would not want to mislead anyone especially when it comes concerns the matter of paradise and hell.
There are people that abuse the practice of marraige in general just as there are people who abuse the practice of multiple marraiges but that does not mean that people should not be allowed to marry so why should it mean that people should not be allowed to practice polygamy?
It’s no use telling me what I am supposed to think. Your words will be a lot more appreciated if you talk about this with the so-called abusers of the practice.
