The punishment is getting killed or uniting with the man/girl he/she slept with if you want to avoid that punishment. Get your Islamic facts straight and don't spread ignorance.

guys this was very very unlikely to have been a sexual relationship. neither were her familly involved in her murder and neither would she have been killed islamically for what was happening.

Let's say there's a chance that this really was a crime of passion and not a hired hit by family members....can u imagine the pain the family is going through right now? First they lose a daughter and on top of that pain, they have to deal with the fact that people might think they are involved in her murder?
Or am I the only crazy one who finds it appalling that as soon as we hear of a desi/asian girl is killed, we immediately jump to the conclusion that it was an honor killing? how is this any better or different than when non Muslims paint us as terrorists?

My friends cousin shot herself with her ex boyfriends gun in his dorm room. The girls parents were even scared to prosecute him fully and wanted to just settle without a trial because they couldn't stand the questions that would be asked about what she was doing at night in his room. For all we know she was just studying but I guess shaitan will never let us rid of evil thoughts about others. Please guys, pray for the family, this could be your own sister/mother/daughter.

but i think that sort of killing has a positive aspect too ................. giving a strong message to muslim galz to be in the limits.......
it shows that muslims have some care for their females, unlike the most of the christian in the europe , and they are aware of their role as a head of family.

islam does not allow honour killing as its the responsibilty of the judiciary. but it also does not allow to bring your boyfriend at home and have sex with him or somewhere else.
but in western countries it is not forbidden by law so that family cant stop her doing such thing and sometimes family members of the gal take such kind of actions.
and y we are bothered about those lukewarm , how they are gonna decide whether what we are doing rite or wrong. as a whole western is increasing becoming symbol of debeachery and perversion as well social behaviour and family life is concerned.
in my personal sometime such kind of extreme action is justified otherwise moral fabric of the scoiety wiil be impaired and relegious values will go to the dogs.

The punishment is **NOT **getting killed if the person isn’t married which she obviously wan’t, **stoning is only for those who are married **and the actual act of penetration has been witnessedby 4 ‘decent’ and moral ppl or a confession has taken place. If the couple are unmarried and witnessed having sex (the actual penetration has to be seen - like “a stick disappearing in a kohl container,” as the fiqh books specify) or have confessed the Islamic punishment is lashes - for BOTH of them.

I was watching this programme called 'Muslim Driving School' and one of the guys on there was a UK Pakistani who had been hooked on drink and drugs (and God knows what else) and was simply sent back to Pakistan to get married as his parents thought somehow magically that would change him (and the poor girl he was arranged to be married to and ended up with had no idea of this stuff he was upto). See how different ppl act with boys and girls, I'll bet if their daughter had been the drug addict she'd been kicked out onto the streets and disowned :(
