I disagree. When I see bigotry, I call it. Fight wasn’t over simply politics or religion. It was about religious bigotry. I think you can fill in the gaps.
Plus, regardless of face to face or social media, we are dealing with real people. If one doesn’t speak up against what is wrong, that is “so lame”.
With total strangers, if the r ashwipes it is easy to return fire and call it a day. With relatives (and their friends) you know some of them. So it gets intense. Am glad to have spoken up. Maybe the message sank in. Maybe it didnt.
Wish more people wouod speak up against stuff that affect someone other than themselves and their immediate circle.
