Posting pics of bruised and tortured dead bodies is not going to make you Gandhi or Mother Theresa. Just like the immature media that we have in Pakistan, it’s almost like a “breaking news” war that is going on on my Facebook news feed page, and everyone is trying to one up by posting the most horrific picture they could find.

My page is decent most of the time with stuff only related to sports or political satire about politics.

LOL.. its true. FB is actually overrun by kids who may be teenagers or may not be even there. While some adults are equally responsible too.
Every freaking post is like a ‘must-share’ for them without even thinking whether its a photoshop or a genuine.
There should be a signboard underneath user login/password fields on FB main page that should be like, “Sochna mana hai..”

you forgot to mention overly religious people, who in real life, has never done anything what they share or preach about on facebook. Plus the effortless sharing of quotes, which sometimes aren’t even authentic.

I have these types as mentioned above, the types who like to dedicate every other post to their bf/gf, bestfriend or dogs??? and then those who are wannabe models/blogger types who should really be on instagram; being “fb famous” aint the same as “insta famous.”

No longer have account. Only had relatives as friends. But got into political fights with f’n bigots who were relatives friends. So alienated relatives. Closed account.
Plus it is overvalued. Lots of overhang in terms of stock options. I think.

good point… but there is really no comparision.. apart from what @SID_NY said… the membership here is more homogenous than the one for FB… and the fringe elements here are far and few
