Re: ever sat in first class?
It would be funny if someone got on first class with a baby. LOL, everyone else's trip will be ruined.
Re: ever sat in first class?
PIA, from Dam to isb..The service was awesome in the first class and specially one air hostess.
Re: ever sat in first class?
Yes in PIA from Dam to khi.
I was really young so don’t remember much but what i do remember is that we were on the first seat amazingly and i walked a few steps ahead, opened the curtains and i remember seeing the pilot and co-pilot (who looked at me and smiled :)) but the air hostess was not very happy to see a kid around there, she told me to go to my seat and not wander around :mad1: Well, after half an hour of takeoff, and making sure that THAT airhostess was nowhere in sight, i took my brother to see the pilot ![]()
Oooh also a travel bag that included crayons, colour pencils, colouring books, and some candy ![]()
Overall the experience was elating.
Re: ever sat in first class?
Is there a difference between first class and business class on a plane? or is the same thing? confused.
Re: ever sat in first class?
no. first class is out of my budget at the moment.

as far as i know many airlines have now removed first class...they all now have business class as the top class...there wasnot any difference btw first and business class.

yes there is a difference, first class is one step above business class.

First class still largely exists though i have seen first class missing in more than one airlines. Particularly on Emirates flights that come to Pakistan.
Re: ever sat in first class?
I have been on First class with Emirates, Lufthansa, Brussels Air, AF and KLM.
On short haul flights within Europe, almost no difference except the middle seat is empty and you dont have to pay for your meal. Even leg space is almost same as on economy seats on short haul european first class.
On long haul flights, i dont see much difference between Business and First class(keep the fare difference in mind). Of course comfort is there and you get flat beds but these days (seem on emirates only), they are providing flat beds in business class on 777 and A380 planes. You even get a thin matrice to put on your seat. I just fall asleep during the flight and avoid eating so not much experience of the food there but whatever small amount i had was always good in first class. Specially Godiva chocholates in Emirates (served in both business and first class) :P. The best thing about first class is privacy when you can close the shutter around your seat.
Some colleagues have told me that First Class on Singapore Airlines is the best. Some also speak about quality of Champagne and Wines in first class but i have never tried any of these myself. One of my colleague once threw a stupid joke on me that what was the point in travelling in first/business class if one is not drinking.
The real fun one may get is A380 Business or First class on Emirates. Have never seen any thing better than Business Class on A380 with Emirates and didnt have an opportunity to travel with their First class yet :(
Golden tip - Never go for first class when paying from your own pocket but business class should be tried at least once in life to have that experience.
Re: ever sat in first class?
Emirates (Canada - Pakistan) and Singapore Air (USA - Pakistan)
and both times, it was wonderful experience. Comfort, food-selection and on-board entertainment took me to destination fresh.

freshness in the most important thing you get in business or first class. I have travelled upto 15 hours not stop and then straight to the office from the airport, makes no difference at all.
Re: ever sat in first class?
Yes, business class On PIA & (Gulf/BA)I think..Pakistan to UK, but was too young so don't remember much!
And business class on a short haul flight within USA. Just the seats were a bit comfy, other than that no such difference but im sure it more relaxing on a long haul flight.
