i would like to get the price range for the costs of the event decor and stuff
the following pics are by QYT Events & Management
what do you think they charge for this? do they have their own halls/grounds? do they charge extra for that?

actually i am looking for something which costs about 1100Rps per person..
but i want a nice decor...like above...if possible in that amount!!

Btw you say 1100 per head meaning including food n decor cost? If yes, than i highly doubt so. Definately NOT!. My bro's wedding decor was alot more elaborate but still comparing accordingly i still think 1100 is quite less. Nowadays the decor is costing the most in the wedding events. And you wl def need a proper event management team to execute something grand like in the pix u posted. Though i think the seating area is really not going with the stage n all, is this all same event?

could you please answer these sorts of questions too..cuz i have realized when ever i ask questions like these hardly anyone ever answers....
All mostly people do is visit/answer the treads about bridal pics, makeup..and sometimes clothes..

There is more to a wedding than just that...!!!
and some people liek me would liek some info on that sort of stuff...but it is such a disappointment how i cant find anyone in this "wedding" section who can answer my questions!!!

maybe because we haven't had anyone do such an elaborate set up on GS- or at least thats my take on it. why don't you google some event management companies in pakistan and/or the company you posted above and ask them? it might be a quicker way to getting the info you need.

Most of the people here have not gotten married in Pakistan so yes, don't expect alot of responses. For those who have experience of a wedding in Pakistan might not necessarily know all the costs, etc because alot of times it's handled by the parents/family. Your question is very specifically about costs, you need to approach a wedding planner or decorator for that.

Why don't you email/contact QYT Events & Management and ask them for a quote?

Usually the costs depends upon the

  • timing of the wedding - whether it will happen in the shaadi season or not.
  • type on involvement of the planner - whether they are hired for all the 3 days.

Mani, you need to understand that not everyone can be helpful here cuz of the reasons many members already mentioned. Not every has had the experience to answer your query and also patience my dear, i askd u something you replied after sometime which ofcourse makes sense as u cnt be online 24/7 but same goes for other people.

Anyway, the latest event we had was at Shahi Khema pc dec,09 and the deco was very grand n more elaborate than the pics u posted and it costed around 7-8 lakhs and no that doesnt include the food or hall cost. But i believe the cost was this high also cuz of few other reasons like we appointed the event management just 3-4 days b4 the event and it was dec so yah.

I can recommend you to take yr time, survey the event management teams here n decide accordingly so that u can save up on the cost too.

gosh man i feel freaking so bad for Mani one has even bothered to answer her question! well mani u r in luck so here goes
an event like above was done by QYT for nilofer shahids sons wedding n it was WOW! QYT is the best weddign and event managment compnay in pakistan n they know they have no competition n they are the best!
they cost around 20- 30 lak per event, that makes lets see 35,000 US dollars or so n includes everything from stage to food, but not necessasirly the venue. we got them for my cousins wedding, n getting them for my brothers wedding as well. getting in touch with Qasim is next to impossible you have to call him... hope this helps
buttt there r a lot of other wedding planners who u can go to, but its not guarantee they will do the same things n you have to keep an eye on them which is a real pain, otherwise they do a half ass job..

i called PC karachi and they qouted me 120 000 for decoration and around 125 000 for about 300 people

for 300 people they give you the really bad and small hall in front of the hotel its really horrible!

Quick question - when you say 20-30 lak per event, is that 20-30lakh for just the mendhi and so on, or is that a complete package?

thats just one event! if u do get more than one they obviosuly cut u a deal

Also just to give you another idea...PC and Liberty castle (in lahore) quoted me 1200 per person just for the hall and food...not including any type of decoration.

Well, 20 to 30 lakh is way way too much! QYT is well known for celeb weddings but I do think you can find a planner who can do something similar for a lesser amount.

Did you contact any of the planners based in Lahore?
