they played horrible hussain..! there were so many freakin chances..!! so many..!! but they were lookin at eachother.. whoze gonna do that..? n oooooopss.. there goes the ball again..!! defence was juz 2 strong..! n hollands defence was 2 poor..! the entire russian team defended when they had to.. n Holland.. only 4 ppl..!!

Without reducing Russia's performance, did Holland really care to play football yesterday night or was the partying with blunts, coca, jacky too much for them? You must be kidding me, you first beat the World Champion Italy 3-0 then beat the Vize Champion 4-1 and then lose to "unexperienced" Russian kids?
Is that true or am I still intoxicated and dreamin'?

I grew up watching this wicked keeper van der Sar also. For me, he's one of the best Goalkeeper in this World. If he would've played for Germany he would've have won at least 2 or 3 Tournaments...
I miss Frank de Boer. You remember that wicked pass of him to Bergkamp against Argentina, when Bergkamp took that pass with his chest and banged it past the keeper? Frank kept the 'D' together.
What's with Seedorf? Despite having Sneijder, van der Vaart etc. can you leave this player at home?

The dutch were al over the place but never in the right one :-/
I was sooo looking forward to the semi’s and then hopefully the finals and now it’s all over 
I guess Hiddink proved it once again… he’s the best!

Numb.. who DOESNT remember that pass..?! Dennis Bergkamp, Frank/Ronald de Boer, Philip Cocu, Patrick Kluivert, Marc Overmars.. those were the REAL playes..!! I really miss that..! (and ofcourse.. Edwin v der Sar.. )
N like I said.. Holland played it really POOR..! there was no pressure.. no speed.. no communication.. Russia really deserved to win.. coz they played it juz 2 gud..! they had everything.. pressure, speed, GREAT defence..! Guus Hiddink did it AGAIN.. first South Korea.. then Australia.. n now Russia.. Hiddink is a great coach.. :)
But there is one thing I also have 2 admit.. this tournament is FULL of SURPRISES..! Portugal out.. Croatia out.. Holland out.. I wouldnt b surprised if Turkey will reach the final.. coz this is the first time ever I saw sooo many surprises..! on the other hand.. Turkey vs Russia wouldnt b that bad.. I mean its sumfin else than the standard Germany, Italy, Portugal n Spain in the final..

Hey all,
I am absolutely thrilled by these euro matches. They have been purely entertaining and I am so so glad that apart from one team, all other three teams who reached semi finals were the ones who actually went out to score goals and win matches. Italy tonight were always aiming for penalties and banking on Buffon.
Spain is the only team to go through after resting their main players for last group match. All other teams who did so are out.. Portugal, Holland, Croatia...
By the way, my commiserations to Dutch guppies but didn't Russia play absolutely beautifully. That Arshavin guy, My God he is a fantastic little player. Awesome performances.

Turkey and Spain for me!
Although I dont really dislike the Germans or Russians either, halfway through the game of Russia vs Netherlands I didnt really know who i was rooting for. Started off supporting the Dutch but the Russians played so well. Infact I have a feeling I might end up supporting Russia over Spain.
My only real loyalty lies with the Turks.
