Did anyone see the incredible backpass from Zidane on a corner kick just before the half time?? Too bad that Gallas' header went off target otherwise this goal could have been one of the highlights of championship. This guy plays magic football.

He almost pulled a harlem globetroter. The ball came straight to his foot and he just stuck his foot out and positioned it to Gallas (I think it was Gallas) but Gallas missed getting the header into the net.
Could have been the best goal ever in European Cup championship.

Trezeuqt has equalized for France after clearly handling the ball. Such incidents leave a bad taste. Even if France wins, it wont be a well-deserved victory.
It ended in a 2-2 draw but certainly a really interesting match and Croatia missed easiest of chances right at the injury time.
France were lucky to draw, just like they were lucky to win against England. So much for this world class team. 
I sooooo wish that Croatian bloke had scored that last goal, maybe then the French would think twice before ruining my Sunday evening

Croatian player Mornar missed a golden chance in the last phase of the game, It seems France has some extra luck in the extra time.

we kept the ball well today, scholesy and stevie gerrard dictated the play in the midfield which was good to c, the swiss were unable to provide any bright spark, their counter attacking suxed big time, sol campbel and john terry were like a solid brick wall, nothing was getting past them.
thank god mr. eriksson gave a run out to the magpie keiron dyer, he had a decent 5+ mins. only downer was mckey owen’s perfomance bar the assit in the 1st half which led to rooney’s goal he had a quiet game given his standards. :insha: ] he will bounce back in style against croatia and

i must admit france have been really edgy ever since the euro champs’ started. they r the reigning european champions but they haven’t played like champs’ so far, in their opening 2 games they have provided lacklsutre performances, zinedine zidane alone has been the only bright spark, he seems to be working his chadeez off running around the pitch.. henry has been quiet wat’s up with him, he can’t seem to stop scoring for arsenal but for france it’s a dif’ issue.
trezeguet got a lucky one today when he clearly handled the ball b4 scoring for france against croatia today. Mornar the dummy should’ve sealed it for croatia in stoppage time but he couldn’t score from 3 yards

france can thank their lucky *'s that they only need a point against the swiss to reach phase 2 of the tournament they have thus far not played the quality football that they r known to play and still have managed to so top the current group b table .
france can keep this up and kiss goodbye their chances of retaining the trophy. some serious work in training is required by the tottenham bound french boss santini.

did you miss the France/England match? The penalty that Beckham missed was won by a fantastic bit of skill by Rooney. Just because the lad looks like a pit bull doesn't mean he can't play. Off the pitch I agree he'd probably be like the rest of the England fans...getting sozzled smashing up the local bars then getting the $hit beat out of them by the Portuguese police.
