You can say whatever about their tactics, but you don’t win championship by luck. They deserved it. Congrats to Greece.
One of THE stories in football history. Greece have executed their plans absolutely wonderfully. Like shinoo said, if you beat France, Czech, and Portugal you deserve to win.
Only thing that is irritating was their 1-0 wins but they didnt concede a goal in knockout phases and that is amazing too.

Portugal never really threatened the goal. I was so surprised to see that loser Pauleta in the starting line up. Figo was was so inspired against Holland was hugely disappointing.
Seeing them celebrate one should applaud them for sticking to their guns. Well played.
Greece proved once again that their 9 man defensive strategy is a great leveller and very difficult to break down. I think they only won one corner all match but scored from it. I won't congratulate them though as their football kills the game as a spectacle. Imagine if BOTH teams played like this....it would be soulless goalless draws every time.
So as a parting shot I have to say well defended Greece but UP YOURS ^^
Thank God I don't have to watch this bunch of Wimbledon clones every week. Their full backs would be good buys for a premiership team though.
