The motif is supposed to be based on some traditional Punjabi design called “rilli”…people thought the skirt was an “effortless yet perfect fusion of East and West that was further enhanced by the simple yet delicate embroidered, relatively small motif in dull gold at the neck of the blouse.” Personally, I don’t even think the skirt goes with the blouse.
I really like these two…they make me want to wear a peshwaz.

What the hell, we have this (skirt) designs on traditional blankets..whatever.. (i.e. what we call rillee in sindhi) and i have one with exact same work only in squares though.
This guy was in karma right - now i so think all the beautiful designs were probably made by the girl.

rilli is punjabi? i think its sindhi…probably both..not sure but i have seen them mostly in sindhi peoples houses.

Kamiar is an expert on "kaam" while Maheen is an expert on color combinations..the rest their team does for them
