This site has always welcomed discussions and debates while the same were conducted in a civilized and cultured manner. Some people have just proved to be pure ignorant of the ways an educated person conducts a conversation.

The limits of our tolerance had reached some time ago. We just wanted to see how far this monkey business of these so-called ‘Islamic Preachers’ goes. Well, it did go far enough to bore away people. This is a Pakistani site and thus the official religion of this site is ISLAM but we do not know the version of Islam these guys are preaching. And we are better of without the profanity and stupidity they are brining to this forum.

We are thus restricting these clowns from posting to these forums for at least a week. Let them settle and rethink their behavior or they can go and find other places to preach their version of Islam.

Hi Admin:

Well why no one ever refuted them or debated with them as they have been asking for. All I read that they were directly quoting your Quran and Hadith. I did not see their version or their claim to be a part of any so-called group. They claimed to be Muslim, they used Islamic sources. It believes it is unfair, because you all could not handle them. They are too good and too knowledgeable to be handled by you all. You said their version of Islam, why don't you contradict them if they were wrong? Your actions are nothing but totalitarian and bully act. What about others who insulted them and your faith, if you are Muslim. All I can say shame on you.

Dear Admin,

I think it is not a good idea to restrain the three "revolutionaries". Let them express what they want to say about religion. This is 21st century, no one is so dumb here to accept what all they have to say about the religion. I would rather like that people who are knowledgeable in this field give intelligent comments including champion (according to your poll in General Section) of the GupShup forum, Mr. NYAhmadi.

Dealing such "revolutionaries" in a normal way is the most effective way rather than imposing any censorship. Never the less, history of Gup Shup has proved that people who were so aggressive in their approach, had left the forum in a very short period of time. Let the high tide to settle down and transform to foam and return to the ocean.

I think moderator and Admins have very leniently performed their duties. It will be erroneous to say that the three musketeers have been given less opportunity to calm down. For the last couple of weeks we have all been humiliated in the name of Islam. Furthermore it is depressing to see that they have even not spared our respected female crowd like zara, asfia and rani. Mothers of some were also targeted. After observing this attitude I took a step and addressed Admin to awake the quiescent moderator, unfortunately came to know that he is out of town for some personal business. Roman was immediately appointed for this task. He faces them very sincerely and squarely. Very modestly he tried his level best to uncurl their harsh posture, but they still wanted to stay to their inborn etiquettes made up of hatred, arrogance and grandiosity.

I dont see any unfairness on Admin’s behalf.

Thanks for your feedback via your post at 6:46 PM on Saturday, April 08,2000. You asked this question with three quotations:

My response to your query is as follows.

First of all I don't endorse or condemn anyone's behavior, I mean all posters at large. But what is troubling to me that ** Admin ** is delivering a cowboy justice being very selective. One can see clearly that what is good for the geese is not good for the gender, that is suppose to be "what is good for the geese is good for the gender.

Let us take a look of the list of topics started during past 5+ days and/or are active during past 5+ days. We see clearly that there are many valid and thought provoking topics which have been closed by Admin without apparent reason or due justification. That espouses the doubt that Admin is suppressing the FREE THOUGHTS. It is a violation of everyone's natural right. That means all others were punished unjustifiably because of the arrogance of one who acted irrationally? I think it does not give any better example than you have quoted from their posts. I believe that former is worst than that.

Let us take a serious look about other posters who posted insulting, derogatory, and bigoted posts against BB, Ghazi, and Irrefragable let alone Islam. I have been stunned to notice that Muslims are insensitive to their own faith and allowing others to insult the Islam and everything Islam stands for. Those three who are banned for a week never received a polite and civil reception. They collectively stood against all evil what they believed in. Their contribution of knowledge is far more than rest of the posters combined for years of posts. I learned a whole lot through them. I did not see a single poster whether Muslim or non-Muslim was successfully able to refute them or answer their factual posts. I believe that caused a sense of intimidation among all posters.

Later we noticed that the moderator "Roman" got involved and failed to handle and manage the forum appropriately. There have been messages posted by those who are in Admin using the password of BB and Ghazi. It is inconceivable that these two bright and smart guys will post insulting posts against themselves. They immediately posted messages to point that out. I am not sure where you are located. But according to US laws it is a serious crime, punishable with fines and jail time both in federal prison. And trust me they have the means to find that out. After all this technology is US'.

Frankly I hardly concern myself if Admin ban those three forever. But it is a grave miscarriage of justice when Admin is not looking in the mirror and acting as ** Judge, Jury, Prosecutor, and Executioner by failing to exercise due process.** I feel that due process will bring some others including people within Admin with their hands in cookie jar as well.

I think that Admin is in contempt of civil rights of BB, Ghazi, and Irrefragable. Admin fell short to maintain equality before the law; in this case it’s own rules. I also believe that the three did not have freedom from discrimination by the posters and Admin as well.

I can copy and paste dozens of posts by others including Admin, which are as questionable as Admin has quoted. But justice begs us to look both sides of issue and be fair. My concern is that Admin is more emotional than fair and rushed to judgement.

Let us review about the threat of lawsuit. The first question comes in mind is can Ghazi sue Pak.Org? The answer is ** I don't know. ** The next logical question is it possible? The answer is without a doubt ** YES. ** The next question may well be, how about Ghazi made an empty/hollow threat? The answer is how about he didn't? We have no way to find that out unless it is too late.

I did some checking and I cannot tell for sure but there is a possibility that Ghazi was/is serious. Keeping the amount it may cost $ 150.00 to file a lawsuit which is nothing. Beside that in case you don't know US Government means business and it's federal courts have worldwide jurisdiction. Pakistan government may sellout its own citizens for many reasons. But trust me a lawsuit may cost one what one may not be able to imagine. US do use its influence and embassies to help US citizens. I am not trying to scare you. Rather I am telling you that this is the way we do business here in USA. In conclusion I would emphasize that your actions are not an idea for success, they are a formula for failure. Admin must also keep this in mind that because of those three the number of hits was gone up substantially. One question I have if you all (Admin) are Muslim under what Islamic law or reference from Quran makes you turn a blind eye to lies and insult against your own faith by most of your posters? What is a Muslim’s duty in that situation? What BB, Ghazi, and Irrefragable posted from your Quran makes a lot of sense to me. Do you have a different Quran or you just feel ignoring the teaching of your faith?

I would respectfully urge you to demonstrate fairness and lift the irrational ban against three of them. Have some knowledgeable moderators if you claim to be Muslim or at least consult your divine scripture to act rationally and appropriately. I don’t think you have qualified moderators to deal with “Religion” forum. Enforce your rules equally on all by stopping this buddy system or nepotism.

Crunchy dear, you have missed the point again. Please show us a couple of messages from 'others' with similar kind of abusive language. The idea is to keep this a clean place. What they demonstrated was complete filth and cut-and-paste job. We do need Islamic scholars but with a character.

And as far as the lawsuit is concerned, this site would not be in operations more than one day if we were to heed these threats. We would like to point your attention to the agreement that these people sign when the come on board. We do not feel like going to our lawyers this time. We have consulted them on some earlier cases and we know our rights.

As a regular member and present moderator of the forum, I fully support and trust admin's decision in this matter.

I personally believe that the main purpose of this forum is a place for positive and constructive discussion and interaction with others, and I don't think it's possible in such circumstances.

Correct me if I am wrong, Did not Prophet Muhammad(SAW) declare Abbu-Jahil's home a safe haven for all non mulsims after the victory ? I think so. Did not Prophet Muhammad (SAW) say a prayer for the people who threw stones at him and made fun of him when he was preaching Islam. As a matter of fact he said "Help them God, because they do not know the truth".

So Ghazi & Co. Islam was spread by actions and example, not by calling names to others or not by force. If you really want to spread Islam be a good example, no one doubts that you have knowledge, but please share it without using it profanity, and i f somebody disagrees with you debate in a civil fashion.

Ghazi, BB, and Irrefragable were not spreading I slam and trying to convert anyone. They were educating clueless Muslims like you and non-Muslims alike.

The debate in question is their retaliations which according to the facts on these threads provoked a situation that falls under the commands of Noble Quran (verses 16:126 and 42:39-40-41-42.) So far no Muslim, Admin, and non-Muslim have proved them wrong with supporting facts. People like you come and go to look good for minutes or two. Can you do me a favor and explain to me what these verses are commanding Muslims to do and in what situation they are applicable? I am sure that for your religious background that you are claiming it should be a piece of cake?** :)
