i think it means "effect" .... like they say don't eat achar its taseer is hot .. yaani kay its effect is garam ... just a guess ... i may be wrong ...

^ exactly what I thought... effect. But as I was explaining to my Arabic friend not to eat a lot of peanuts, as its effect (taaseer) is hot, but he was not understanding and in return he said I may be allergic to it.

hmm ... well there are people who are allergic to peanuts ... maybe thats what he thought when you told him not to eat to much peanuts .. he might had got the impression kay you are allergic to it ? oh well as you said he didn't understand ... maybe try finding the arabic word of "taseer" .. i guess

"Kudrat" into English

"hikma" (sp?) ... its an arabic word i guess ... i want to know what does it mean?

Thanks

Kudrat = nature
Hikma (Hikmat in Urdu) = wisdom

^ Thanks :flower1:

hehe, my friend claims that translation of this is impossible:

"Sharam kar baighairta, teray ghar maa paen nahi"

I was pondering over "unfaithful" and "disloyal" but went with unfaithful in the end, but perhaps we should only look at "wafa" as fidelity, but then again an infidel aint a bewafa :)

[/QUOTE]

Bewafa can mean unfaithful in non-religious sense as in a cheating spouse.
