What's "majboori" in English
One may translate it as "helplessness"
But in the following sentences how would you translate "majboori"
"Ye mayri majboori hay, kay mujhay jana hay"
OR "tumhari kya majboori hay, (that you can no longer stay here)"
^ compelled
"aisha" as in the song "chote see aisha"
I figured it meant something like desire or want but want to make sure.

yea that is close, but I think it is more like forcing or pressurizing someone (like compulsion)

what's the EXACT meaning in english for

I think "self respect"
According to the web site mentioned by Shahbax
'bewafa' is jilt or love-monger
'Ghyrat' is pudency or pudicity
Virgin is 'pak-daman' or 'ba-asmat'
I think 'afsana' should be Fiction or Fable

Plus don't you think 'ghyrat' also has "sense of guiltiness or ashamed of something" meaning hidden in it too.
Folks, this is an awesome thread...so informative. Thanks!

What do we called the following words in Urdu?
Sink (the one in the Kitchen)
Screws
Screw-driver
Thanks in advance ![]()
The word in-use in urdu for Sink is also Sink or ** basin** ..keep in mind that Urdu has a tendency to grab the words of other langauges and is made of many langauages and still in progress
and that’s the great thing about it…
Screws = Paich ![]()
Screw-driver = Paich Kass ![]()
