Here's what I have realized
In Canada and USA people learn a foreign language as a subject or extra skill......
but in Pakistan its more of a social status type of thing.... Say that if i were the captain of Pakistani cricket team....then instead of speaking English like Inzimaam ul Haq , I would rather prefer to speak my own language Urdu........and let the translaters do the job for newspapers and media reporters.
