It's a typical Sri Lankan performance: fighting back in a lost cause. Unless there is further rain, I predict England will win comfortably.

This has got to be one of the most boring test series in recent memory. The first match was bad enough to watch we seem to be having a dejavu with the second one.
This is a three match test series right?

At lunch toady England need 57 runs to win with 9 wickets intact. The SL humiliation will be complete this afternoon. The weather is fine at the moment so SL can't hope for a divine intervention.

England 295 & 81-4 bt Sri Lanka 141 & 231 by six wickets
England captured the second Test with a six-wicket success against Sri Lanka on the fourth afternoon at Edgbaston.
Muttiah Muralitharan trapped Marcus Trescothick for a duck and took 4-25, but Alastair Cook struck an unbeaten 34 to guide them to their target of 78.
England needed 55 minutes to break through when Sri Lanka resumed 40 ahead at 194-5 but then wrapped up the innings for 231 within half an hour. Opener Michael Vandort was last man out after a battling second Test century.
