Sri Lanka take their last powerplay and it's Malinga into the attack. His first ball is, surprise surprise,a yorker, which KP just manages to dig out. A couple of no-balls from Malinga before Pietersen brings up his 14th one-day fifty with a flick to mid-wicket. England need him to turn this into a big, fleshy ton. Colly joins in the fun, digging out yet another Malinga yorker and the ball racing to the long-leg fence. Pietersen has a go at the penultimate ball of the over, but the shot is stopped, before he gets four with a wristy straight drive. Bit of breathing space for England.

Thanks teaser. Was under the impression that it could only start in 5 sections like 10, 15, 20, etc. As per your explanation I then accept that a captain can take it immediately after the opposition lost maybe two wickets with two fresh batsmen at the crease.

SL also delayed taking the last power play against RSA and it seem to be working for them.

Makes me sad...the top wicket taking bowler in the world is a chucker and nobody can do anything about it.

I think the New Zealand vs Sri Lanka will really show how good or bad Sri Lanka really is

So far Sri Lanka has played very sub-par teams

It lost to a good team of South Africa

So New Zealand is better than England but not as good as power houses South Africa and Australia

although the Australia vs Sri Lanka game will be highly entertaining
