And with that, the bowling got infinitely better. From 60/0 to 103/1 - the improvement can't even be quantified. There is an extra spring in the step. An air of confidence not seen lately.

Sharma to Broad, OUT, the short ball has worked, in a sense...Broad gloves a bouncer into the slip cordon. Barely an appeal, really. The replays show Broad's glove was off the bat when the ball hit it. Not the first of those we've seen this season. A lively innings from Broad, no hanging around
