This game's over as far as England's concerned. England can only blame themselves. Today they went on the defensive and scored just 70 runs in 54 overs.
I have n't seen that sort of slow RR in a test match for a long time. It's no good just occupying the crease. You have to keep the scoreboard ticking over in order to stay ahead of the opposition. Had they gone along at a RR of 2.5-3.0, they would have drawn this game but then all credit to Australian bowlers for having such a vice-like grip on English batsmen today.
