^ This is what this Australian team has been about atleast since 1999. You can never be safe against them. You have to do well as a team for 15 out of 15 sessions to match them in a test match.

England bowled out for 129. They were 69-1 at one stage! Australia need 168 to win in 36 overs at 4.67 RPO. That's gettable IMO.

Flintoff must now be thinking about his first innings declaration at 551-6. England could have batted Australia out of the game. Another 50 runs or so would have used up more time and Australia, even given their remarkable bowling performance today, would not have been in this position to win. But it's always easy to be wise in retrospect.
