It's all over for England, beaten 2-3 by Croatia and enough of me talking to myself! The match sure had a few twists but Croatia I felt were the better team over the 90 minutes and deserved to win.
Can't wait for tomorrow's tabloids.

I am so fookin pleased that england lost, I wish croatia had beaten us 7-0 or some shyt like that, this is the only damn wau FA is going to get a wakeup call, they blew a chance when they did not pursue scolari and instead got this caricature of a manager steve-o due to jingoistyic attitudes of yob pleasing nutter sports rag journalists. This was the only way that mclaren would be out, otherwise ppl would have forgotten about his lame approach and he would have stayed on for world cup.

I don't see Jose managing England, he made that clear when he departed Chelsea, maybe in the future perhaps, but at this time i don't see it happening.

even in prem league u can find better folks, I never got why they picked mclaren if they wanted a change from sven...i mean mclaren was his right hand man, and vennbles as his asst? prolly would be beter if it was other way around.
anyways..I have full faith that FA is going to make yet another idiotic decision..oniell from villa for example..

That was really a shock of a result. After Isral did them a huge favor on saturday, I expected England to scrape through to finals. But that third goal was a nail in the coffin.
But they just didnt qualify yesterday. Failure to beat the likes of macedonia at home was the thing that finally did them. Mclaren was always confused with his team and formation.
X2- O'Neill is a much better coach than Mclaren ever was and even if England can't get the likes of Jose and Capello (who by the way showed interest), O'Neill wont be a catastrophic choice. Capello might get it though. Jose will be at inter next season ;)

At this point, i only see Capello getting the job, he's currently out of work and has for the rest of the potential candidates, they've made it clear that they are not interested at present.
Capello's been a success wherever he has managed, Capello for the England job.
