I'm not sure on who foots the bill for engagement, my in laws allowed me to choose my own dress and do most things my self........they offered to pay but my mum said no as it didnt cost that much........when it came to gifts, they gave me alot of money.....as they knew we wouldn't accept it otherwise.........which was sweet of them. I think normally thy guys side get the girls dress etc.
Femme Fatelle - Arranged the bangles my self! Bought so many and mixed them all up - copying the ones i saw in magazines......lol My makeup artist was suprised as to how simple i wanted to be, but i thought its only an engagement...........plus my fiance likes simplicity. Also i thought if i get tooo done up there would be no difference when i'm an actual bride?
