My BIL engagement will be on next-month IA as this first function after my wedding so I’m confused what to wear means heavy formal suit or semi formal ,hairstyle and jewelryPlus makeup.
I have this dress in dark brown and beige color.

Depends on your family tradition - my BIL is getting married almost two years after me, but I am still planning on wearing my baraat/walima outfit to one of his functions, because when it's an immediate family member that's what we're expected to do.
It would also depend on how long ago your own wedding was - if it was fairly recent (2-3 months) then I'd wear the outfit you've posted; if it's been over a year I'd wear something slightly more toned down, semi-formal and with heavy jewellery.

Thanks for nice advice:) yeah it had been one year.
But I didn't wear my formal or semi formal after wedding this is first function so I thought to wear. :)

^^ Why don't you ask your MIL for advice? When my BIL had his nikkah my MIL made me wear a lehenga lol (but this was about 2 months after my wedding...) She'll know what is suitable for your family.

2 days after my sisters wedding her BIL is getting married.and then after BIL’s wedding it’s my sisters and her deverani’s Walima together ..she is confused what should she wear on her BIL’s wedding.because 2 days before BIL’s wedding she is wearing her barat dress and heavy jewelry waghaira on her wedding and then 2 days after BIL’s wedding it’s their Walima so she is going to be bride again,..what should she wear in BIL’s wedding ?

Use a straightener and leave your hair loose that is untied.

She could wear a heavy saree or any other heavy formal outfit from her trousseau. She is a new bride so she would be expected to wear something heavy. Maybe she can repeat her engagement outfit.

Wear her baraat dress with her dupatta not on her head, but with all the jewellery. No-one could say she is trying to out-do the bride as she’s still a bride herself! Just don’t wear dupatta on the head. Three days after my walima was Eid, and I wore my baraat dress - best move ever. Got loads of compliments

my BIL got married recently, it was almost 4 years after my wedding , i wore my walima gharara on mehndi, one of my jahaiz frocks (maroon and Mehndi green) on barat with my barat jewellery and a black dress from my jahaiz on walima but i worked on the marron frock and black dress , got entensions and panels etc and they were just fine :)
