Engagement Dresses

My friend is getting married at the end of Feb (Inshallah) and she wanted a dress for herself which looks bridal but at the same time its simple and stylish…she is more into pastel colors…and her first preference is actually white and off white…share some pictures/ideas anything please…she is gorgeous Mashallah, very fair (for some to imagine her being perfect) with great features and long thick jet black hair etc…so i don’t think there is anything which wouldn’t suit her…

hmm I would say the one thing she should be careful about is the fact that her engagement dress might out-do her valima dress! i’ve seen this happen a lott with people who have engagement events. that’s why i think she should avoid a lengha and go for a nice peshwas type outfit.. and pink or blue would really suit her according to your description. other than that, the options are endless!

She is not an engagement bride but I feel that the outfit and the bride’s whole look is really suitable for an engagement:

This is what I wore on my Nikah/Engagement. I also wanted to go with something simple and a light colour. It was a simple kurta/shalwar suit that actually had a much lighter dupatta which we had changed because we started to feel that it was too simple haha. Your engagement wedding only happens once! A white, or champange colour would be beautiful.

^very pretty MA, i think pastels are very appropriate for engagement, and especially if your gonna wear the dupatta on your head, the dupatta should have light work on it
