im new here my name is Aisha and inshaAllah getting engaged next month. i am looking for an engagement dress, i liked the dress Aishvaria had in the song koi jane koi na jane in the movie aur pyar hogaya, its quite old, but i really like it, i tried to google the picture but i couldent find any,

can anyone pls help me to find the picture of that dress,

jus write the song into google n go to images or jus go to youtube.com and get a screen shot of the dress, that dress is very pretty n loooove the song btw

can anyone post sum nice engagement NOT TOOO FANCY dresses- either shalwar kameez or gharara- etc etc i dont know if this topic was started already-- and how would u wear the dupatta if ur geting engaged? on ur head like a dulhan or carry it on ur shoulder??

its a personal choice... i wore it on my shoulders because it was a family affair. wore shalwar kameez. but then i've seen people do it the other way too. if its a big function u might want to wear a gharara and do the whole bride thing. i didnt want to have it for myself.

on my engagement i had around 250 people and did have my dupatta on my head and wore fancy sharwal kamiz.

I had a small engagement and I wore a shalwar kameez with dupatta around my head. Nothing too fancy but I made sure my makeup and nails were done nicely.

mine was a very small affair with about 20 people, i wore shalwar kameez and had the dupatta over my shoulders not on the head.

hey guys out of curioisity who pays or buys the engagement day dress? do the in laws bring it for you to wear it or does the grl buy it for herself. Im getting engaged soon and im dying to buy myself a dress but everyone is saying that i have to wear wut the guy's side brings but wut if they dont i dont want to wait and see if they do or dont

my small engagment dat was suppose to be only famlies turned into a big one
nd i already bought clothes according to the small event so i wore shlwar kamiz wit duppta on my head nd got my makeup done :)

why dont u just askk ur parents to ask inlaws?? in my case it was clear that im gona buy my own dress

i had to engagements- a small one in the house n a big one
for the small one i just got a shalwar kameez suit for myself
but for the big one my MIL brought me to a store to pick out a outfit.....
u should just ask... i suppose it happens diffrerently in families
