I dont have any information on qurb e qiyamat. from my perspective it does not matter. I can die tomorrow ..does not matter if qiyamat is not for another 10 years or 10K years, unless we factor in sawab a jariya (which reminds me is there something like gunah a jariya)
so if I critized his punk ass in some other thread why are you bringing it up here as a diversion from a very valid statement that people have been predicting qurb e qiyamat for centuries ..
none of that changes the fact that people have predicted the same before, using the same signs

There is a hadith of the prophet:saw:, the exact interpretation of which is:

Rasoolulah:saw: said: Qiyamah is near
Companions(RA) asked:* how near?*
Rasoolulah:saw: replied: As near as your death for whoever dies, his life to Qiyamah is nearer…

Mufassireen have related this hadeeth to the quranic ayah that talks about when everyone will be resurrected and they will think that they were in this world for one or few days… Wallah-O-Alam!

and that is what I say, no one knows when their time will be up and their book will be closed, then what.. so whether qiyamat is in a million years or in a week, we should still be doing what we ought to be doing.

AQ yaar the only thing I dont understand is sawab e jariya because that is unfairly benefitting people from past more than people who lets say do some sawab e jaariya a week before qiyamat.

by the same token, Companions (RA) were concerned about the age limit they had VS the people of older times like Noah:as: when they used to live 1000 years… Rasoolulah:saw: replied that Allah:swt: is just and while He has decreased the age of humans by time, He has multiplied the rewards comparitivelty as well…

There is a narration in which I read and this is from memory so could be a bitt off in wordings that a woman came to Noah:as: complaining that his son died in a young age of 400 years… to which he replied what would you do when people will not even be living 100 years.. she was astonished as said that with age that less, I will only be doing worship to Allah and will not have time to do anyother thing…

Allah:swt: is just.. I am sure.. He will be calculating everything.. As you said, no matter what, that is not our jurisdiction to go crazy about how He’s gonna do this and that.. we ought to be doing what we need to do…

can sawab e jarriya get so big that a person's sins are overshadowed by them. I mean lets say someone lived a completely wicked life, and just did one good deed..and that good deed just had some impact that multiplied over time and just had a really profound positive impact on people ... is it possible that his one action which did not really produce much good in his lifetime or even soon afterwards got him so much sawaab that it overtook all his sins?

from what I have read, yes it is possible...thoughts?

^ as long as his death was in state of Imaan, YES… absolutely possible… There are narrations of ahaadeeth mentioning people with wicked life but only one deed saved them…

Therefore the reason that it is commanded by the Prophet:saw: not to say bad things about a dead person, who was considered a known muslim in the society regardless of his life and personal opinion in the worldly matters…

but just like the good deed of a person has long term consequences, bad deeds do too. I think Allah is rahman and raheem and ghafoor for allowing us the benefit of the impact of our good deeds even when we are gone, but saving us from the gunah of the impact of our bad deeds after we are gone.

:) bad deed is only written in your book once it is carried out and that's that...

good deed is written with 10 times the reward when you make an intention... and an actual reward is written when you carry that out... and if sadqa-e-Jaariya, it will keep on multiplying...

So keeping the same scenario in mind...lets say a person committed humanity crimes and hurt alot of people through the course of his life.... and lets say he did one thing good in his life and God loved it.....
then where did the check n balance system go in HIS court on the day of judgment..... whats going to happen to those people who were seeking justice from the Almighty.
Where as he has promised everyone will get justice.

Justice will be done… do not worry… that’s Allah will do… do you know that in Islamic judiciary laws in this world, there is something called Qisaas for the murderer and it is regarded as Justice as well???

If someone’s fundamental rights were violated, Allah:swt: will provide justice to that person on the day of Qiyamaah.. there are many narrations which talk about the rewards for such people…

brother AQ can u plz tell Mr. Fraudia how much it is important to have information on day of judgement. (to sense the furies of ALLAH SWT dat most of us dont realise)

I think it depends on the situation...if God wouldnt promise to be so kind,merciful ,helpful,problem solver,just,Karma, etc etc......and then we wouldnt have such high hopes from him....
when he promises and commands us to ask for ubove mentioned favors only from him......you tell me who should we hold accountable when he's the one who commands us ...and then fails to do so his part.....
is it fair to question his existance?????
Yes i guess it should be okay......if someone claims to be everything....i think they should be crediable to fix things with their claims...since we are just mere human beings and he is very well aware of his creation's thinking process.......then why compare human with his self.
